Hello, book lovers! 💕

Wow. It’s almost the end of the year. I know I’ve mentioned in this is almost every post I’ve written lately, but time seems to be flying even faster. My birthday is in four days! Next week is Christmas! Like where is time going? Then again, I’m ready for this year to be over already.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The aim is to give an update on what you’ve read and what you plan on reading in the future.

As always, I’m not very consistent with this weekly meme being that I don’t always finish reading a book in a week; sometimes it takes longer since I’ve become a slower reader. But I’ve been reading a lot this past week, which is amazing for me.

The three W’s are:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I had requested the ebook for Well Played by Jen DeLuca from my library a while back, and it just became available for me to borrow, so I decided to pick it up. I’m not that far into it (maybe 50-60 pages), but I can already tell that I’m going to love it. I am relating so much to the main character, Stacey. She’s 27, pretty much lives at home with her cat. That’s pretty much me in a nutshell.

I don’t know what took me so long to pick it up; I’ve had it on my TBR for the last few months. But I’m so glad that I did.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished Chasing Lucky by Jenn Bennett earlier this week. I wanted to take my time with this book, and I did. I have a book review of it if you’re interested in more of my thoughts, but like a majority of Jenn Bennett’s books, I really loved this one.

Before finishing that book, I went on a comic binge and read like 4 Avatar: The Last Airbender comics, so now I only have 2 more parts in the series, which I plan on reading really soon.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Once I finish Well Played, I really want to pick up In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren. I haven’t read any holiday books yet this season, and it’s almost over. So I really need to change that. I have the physical book for it, but I also got the audiobook for it. But I’ve heard really good things about it, and I’m excited to finally get to it this month.

I also want to finish the Avatar: The Last Airbender comics since I’m so close to finishing the series. Plus, they’re really short reads, so I could get them done in a day or two if I force myself to sit down and read instead of playing video games (I just got Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, which has become my new obsession).

So there you have it. Those are the books that I’m currently reading, I recently finished, and I plan on reading next. What book are you reading or plan on reading? Have you read any of these books that I mentioned? I’d love to chat in the comments below!

I am a twenty-something-year-old who is an avid reader. I love anything from young adult fantasy to adult fiction to young adult contemporary. I also love to play video games and draw and watch movies and TV shows. And this is my safe space where I can gush about everything I love.
