Books to Read December | 2020

Hello, book lovers! 💕

It’s officially the month of Christmas, and I’m so excited! There’s something about this time of year that just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I know it can be stressful for a lot of people with buying gifts for so many people and spending so much money. But there’s something magical about twinkling lights and giving gifts to my loved ones. And watching the snow fall while reading under a cozy blanket near the fire. It’s the perfect reading atmosphere.

Speaking of reading, I’m not sure what I want to read this month; I don’t want to make a huge list of books to read then not get to any of them, which is what I feel like I did in November. But there are a select few that I definitely plan on reading before the end of this month. Though, none of these that I mention are set in stone.

So without further ado, let’s get onto the books I plan on reading in December!

There is no doubt that I will finish Chasing Lucky by Jenn Bennett that I started reading at the end of last month. I’ve mentioned this a few times already in previous posts, but I’ve loved everything that I’ve read from Jenn Bennett, and I know I’m going to love this one as well. I mean I’m over 100 pages into it, and I’m already really enjoying it.

I recently bought The Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morgenthaler on my Kindle, and I’ve heard really good things about it. I feel like it’ll be a book that gets me in the holiday mood (though I’m already there). I’m not entirely sure if it’s centered around Christmas, but it definitely has the winter-vibes with the snowy setting of Alaska. Honestly, I’m not sure what it’s about, and that’s fine because I like going into contemporary romances pretty blind.

That’s the type of book I must be in the mood for because the other book that I want to get to this month is In A Holidaze by Christina Lauren. Again, I don’t know anything about this book other than it has some pretty good reviews on Goodreads. But this one does take place during Christmas, so I definitely want to get to it this month.

I wasn’t expecting to get a physical copy of this book as I was going to get it on my Kindle, but I saw that it was one of the options for Book of the Month, so I knew I had to get it.

Honestly, those might be the only books I get to this month. It’s going to be a pretty busy month with birthdays and Christmas, but I do plan on carving out some reading time. But if I am ambitious enough, I might try to read more of the Avatar comics.

I know I’ve been saying that I want to finish reading this comic series by the end of the year, but I don’t think it’s going to happen unfortunately. I’m going to try to read as many of them as I can, but I’ll probably finish them in the early months of 2021.

But I think I’d be happy if I just read these books this month. If I happen to get to any others, then that would just be icing on the cake. But I’m going to stick with these just so I don’t put too much on my already full plate.

So there you have it. Those are the books that I plan on reading this month. What books do you plan on reading this month? Do you plan on reading anything Christmassy or wintry? Have you read any of these books I mentioned? I’d love to chat in the comments below!
