Hello, book lovers! 💕
I always say this when writing my TBR posts, but I can’t believe it’s another new month. 2020 is almost over, and it’s a weird concept to comprehend for some reason. This year has both dragged and flew.
But anyway, I’m not sure what books I want to read in November. So anything I put on this list, I’m not entirely sure if I’m going to get to. As usual, I’m not going to make myself stick to any one book; nothing is set in stone. I may put these books on this list, but I may pick up other things instead. Who knows. If anything, I know I want to read things that will be cozy and atmospheric since it’s finally getting cold enough to cocoon in a blanket with a good book.
Let’s get onto the books though!
As I made this list, I think I’m still kind of in the mystery/thriller mood. And also a fantasy/sci-fi mood. I feel like these books will be atmospheric and will transport me into a world where I can disappear into while being wrapped in a blanket cuddled on my bed.
None of these are in any particular order; I’ll probably pick through them when I’m in the mood throughout the month. But I’m thinking about reading When No One Is Watching by Alyssa Cole. This is a book that I recently added to my TBR. I don’t know much about it other than it’s a thriller. But I’m intrigued because I’ve heard pretty good things about it.
The next book on the list is The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater. I read the first book months ago, and I keep telling myself that I’m going to continue on in the series. But I think this month will be the month that I actually do that. I really liked the first book, and I really want to see what happens next in the series.
I realized last month that I haven’t read any more of the Avatar The Last Airbender comics in a while. So maybe I’ll try to get through a few of them this month. I’m almost done with the comics, and I really want to get through them all by the end of the year.
Earlier this year, Aurora Rising by Aimee Kaufman was on sale on Amazon as an ebook. So I decided to pick it up. And didn’t read it. It just sat on my Kindle, and I’m not entirely sure why. Well, that’s not entirely true. I think I haven’t picked it up because I’m usually not a fan of sci-fi books, and this is undoubtedly sci-fi. I’m afraid I’m not going to like it. But I want to give it a try. Mainly because it has such good reviews on Goodreads.
So there you have it. Those are the books that I’m considering to read this month. Like I said, I’m not sure if I’m going to get to any of these, but this gives me a slight idea of the books that I might want to read.
What books do you plan on reading this month? Have you read any of the books that I mentioned? I’d love to discuss them in the comments below!
