I first saw this on Book Coffee Happy‘s blog, and I figured I’d give it a try. I’m not sure if I’ll make this a weekly thing, considering I can be kind of slow when reading a book. So maybe I’ll make it an every other week thing. But thanks so much to Sam from Taking on a World of Words  for hosting!

The three W’s are:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi, and I’m literally only 50 pages away from finishing it. I’m listening to this on audiobook, mainly because the shear size of this book intimidates me from picking up the physical copy. Though, I’ve been reading along from a library copy. I’ll most likely do a review on it soon.

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently read Call it What You Want by Brigid Kemmerer. I picked it up one day at the library on a whim. I read the inside flap, and that was all I needed to immediately know that I wanted to read it. And read it, I did. I absolutely loved this book.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m participating in the Tome Topple Readathon, so my next read is going to be The Devil’s Thief by Lisa Maxwell. Again, similar to Children of Blood and Bone, I’ll be listening to it on audiobook, because it’s a 700 page book. It’s been on my TBR since I finished reading the first book, The Last Magician. I haven’t picked it up because of the size of it, which is why I chose to read it during the Tome Topple Readathon.

Have you read any of these books? What did you think? I’d love to know in the comments below!
